We left Indio and traveled east.  We stopped in Phoenix for gas.  The price for Diesel was $4.19 for cash and $4.23 credit.  We paid $4.17 for Diesel at home so not better for us but we hear it has gone up since we left home.  The price for regular was $3.45.  Just outside Phoenix on our way to San Tan Valley we saw Diesel for $3.89. We traveled 290 miles overall.  It rained on and off between the Colorado River and Phoenix.  I drove about 80 miles of that distance.

We spent the night with our niece and nephew in San Tan Valley.  We went a little out of the way, but worth it for their excellent company.  We had dinner with two of my nieces their husbands and one grand niece. A nice visit but too short.
